Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Merrillville, Indiana is seeking a Resident Activities Coordinator to support engaged living for residents. You will drive the company van for outings, interview residents on admission to tailor activities, and plan an inventory of equipment and supplies.

You will evaluate the effectiveness of the activity program, modify it to meet needs, coordinate the Community newsletter, and work with the resident council to ensure input.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• At least 21 years old preferred with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Drives company van on organized outings for residents.
• Interviews residents upon admission to determine their likes and dislikes.
• Plans activity program and maintains inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Evaluates and adapts the activity program to meet residents' needs and interests.
• Plans and coordinates the Community newsletter.
• Coordinates with the resident council to incorporate input.
• Coordinates resident shopping orders for those unable to shop independently.
• Engages with residents in a compassionate and dignified manner.
