Talentify is seeking an Activity Assistant to support daily activity calendars, align with the Activity Director's program, and promote residents' quality of life through psychosocial and activity-focused care.

A suitable candidate will have a high school diploma, healthcare exposure, and ability to read/write English.

Qualifications

  • Must have high school education or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year experience in healthcare or volunteering with disabled population.

Responsibilities

  • Provide feedback to Activity Director for monitoring achievement of facility and program goals.
  • Lead a therapeutic, person-centered activity program to enhance residents' quality of life.
  • Follow Activity Policies and Procedures and Federal and State regulations.
  • Know each resident's background to ensure a person-centered activity plan.
  • Activities shall be daily and respect residents' schedules and rights.
  • Coordinate language services and communication needs of residents.
  • Conduct assessments related to social, medical, cognitive, spiritual needs.
  • Document and maintain required records and activity boards.
  • Facilitate community involvement and resident outings.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies and update calendars daily.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
