Job summary

Talentify seeks an Activity Assistant/Aide to support planning, implementation, and evaluation of a wide range of resident activities. You will observe and document resident engagement, ensuring programs align with each resident’s care plan and care team guidance.

In this role, you will prepare activity spaces, assist with crafts and projects, and work closely with other departments to keep daily programs running smoothly while maintaining confidentiality and a respectful environment for all

Qualifications

• Experience in Long Term Care Activities Department preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing and evaluating activity programs.
• Observe resident attendance, mood, behavior, and involvement; document progress.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure activities run without interruption.
• Prepare activity rooms and equipment; procure supplies as needed.
• Protect resident confidentiality and treat residents with dignity at all times.
