Job summary

Talentify in the United States is hiring an Activities Director to plan, develop and oversee the Activities Department, addressing the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of Residents. This role requires supervising staff, developing policies, maintaining compliance with regulations, and managing programs within budget.

You will participate in care planning and greet new Residents, ensuring a welcoming and compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Supervises Activity staff and department operations.
• Develops and implements departmental policy and procedures.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
• Develops new programs to meet trends and standards.
• Manages activities within budgetary guidelines.
• Completes charting, care planning and MDS portions on time.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report Residents’ attendance, participation and behavior changes.
• Participate in care planning by attending meetings with observations.
• Greet new Residents upon arrival to the facility.
• Assist with recruitment and selection of Activity staff.
