Job summary

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements comprehensive therapeutic recreation programs and services.
• Performs assessments and selects activities to meet individualized resident needs and interests.
• Delivers programming to promote engagement in life-enhancing activities and maintain functioning.
• Completes MDS-related sections and participates in Resident Care Plan Meetings.
• Maintains monthly activity calendars and posts them for residents and staff.
• Documents resident participation and monitors risk factors and changes in condition.
• Identifies health issues affecting activity participation and notes supporting sources.
