Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in therapeutic recreation or completion of NAAP/NCCAP Basic and Advanced Management Course for Activity Professionals.
• Certification in accordance with regulatory agencies: ADC or CTRS.
• Two years' experience in a social or recreational program within the last 5 years, health care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and supervise recreation services to improve patient/resident's quality of life.
• Report to Nursing Home Administrator.
• Plan individual and group programs aligned with patient/residents' needs and goals.
• Lead, guide and direct recreation staff and volunteers.
• Maintain required documentation; participate in budget planning.
