LionStone Care in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Part-Time Activities Aide to support the planning, organization, and implementation of recreational and therapeutic activities for residents in a long-term care setting. You will collaborate with the Activities Director to enhance residents' quality of life through social, physical, emotional, and cognitive engagement.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous experience in activities coordination, recreation, or with the elderly is preferred but not required.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; patience, empathy, and a caring attitude; ability to work independently or in a team; creativity in activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Activity Planning: help plan daily, weekly, and monthly schedules that cater to residents' well-being.
• Lead and Facilitate Activities: set up, lead, and supervise group activities (games, crafts, music, exercise, events).
• Resident Interaction: build relationships, monitor safety, support emotional and social needs.
• Documentation: record attendance, preferences, and participation levels per policies.
• Set-Up and Clean-Up: prepare spaces and restore after activities.
• Special Event Support: organize and run events with volunteers and family involvement.
