Qualifications

• 1 year of job-related experience preferred in senior living communities.
• Ability to lead activities and motivate volunteers and team members.
• Able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Good judgment, problem solving and decision making.
• Ability to work semi-independently following community procedures.
• Proficiency in computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining a balanced resident-centered activity program for the community.
• Reviews, reads, notates and initializes the Daily Log and Department Log to document pertinent information and changes in residents' activities.
• Demonstrates proficiency with QA processes and quality service standards for enriching activities and programming.
• Collaborates with the community team to ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and quality standards for resident care and services.
• Actively participates as a member of the team and supports team goals.
• Facilitates small group presentations and activities for residents.
