Job summary

Rocky Mountain Care – Cottage on Vine in Murray, UT is seeking a part-time Activities Aide to assist in planning and delivering engaging resident activities. The role includes creating monthly calendars, coordinating events, and supporting residents in access to activities to promote wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will hold a current Food Handlers Permit, be at least 16 years old, and possess a Therapeutic Recreation Technician credential along with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current/Active Food Handlers Permit.
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
• Therapeutic Recreation Technician (TRT) is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs.
• Create monthly activity calendars written in large print and posted prominently.
• Coordinate resident activities and assist with transporting residents to activity locations.
• Document attendance and progress notes, noting resident responses to services.
• Observe mood and involvement, reporting changes to the Activities Director.
