Job summary

Spectrum Retirement is seeking a part-time Activities Assistant to support residents with engaging programs. Schedule: Thursday to Saturday, 8:30am-4:30pm.

You will assist in planning and executing activities, developing monthly calendars, coordinating performers, and guiding residents during events. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, be at least 21, hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and possess strong communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with residents, family members, and other team members.
• Self-motivated, organized, and professional; able to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, planning, implementation, and execution of activities for residents.
• Assist in developing the monthly calendar, procuring performers, providing seminars, and maintaining the resident library.
• Drive residents to events and assist residents to enter and exit the community vehicle.
