Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is hiring a full-time Activities Assistant to support residents with engaging programs and outings in our Peoria community. You will help plan monthly calendars, coordinate performers, and facilitate seminars to enrich daily life for residents.

Responsibilities include developing activities, arranging transportation in the community vehicle, and ensuring a welcoming, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record and at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents, family members and team members.
• Self-motivated, organized, and professional; able to multitask.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementing and executing activities for residents.
• Help develop the monthly calendar, procure performers, provide seminars, and maintain the resident library.
• Drive residents to events and assist them entering and exiting the community vehicle.
