Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a part-time Activities Assistant in Round Rock, TX. Weekend availability is required. You will help develop and run engaging activities for residents, assist with calendars, procure performers, host seminars, and maintain the resident library.

You will also drive residents to events and assist them with entering/exiting the community vehicle, while delivering strong customer service and clear communication with residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have a valid driver's license, a clean MVR, and at least 3 years of driving experience.
• The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with residents, family members, and other team members.
• Must be self-motivated, organized, and professional. Must be able to work independently and handle multiple tasks at one time.
• Strong customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the development, planning, implementation, the execution of the activities for residents.
• Assisting in the development of the monthly calendar, procuring performers, providing seminars, and maintaining the resident library.
• Driving residents to events, assisting residents to enter and exit the community vehicle.
