Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology, Gerontology, or related field (Preferred).
• Experience in healthcare or service setting preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old with a valid state driver’s license.
• Knowledge of physiology and psychology of the older adult.
• Juniper Village at the Spearly Center specializes in mental and behavioral health and related resident needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating, planning and implementing the Connections activity program.
• Help plan and post a monthly calendar of events and coordinate newsletters and special events.
• Arrange and, when needed, provide transportation for residents.
