Job summary

Kadima Healthcare Group is seeking an Activity Coordinator to plan and monitor unit activities and program content, and to supervise residents’ use of equipment and materials, ensuring safety and engagement.

You will document resident participation, MDS, care plans and progress on the appropriate forms, and work with activities staff to build relationships with agencies and volunteer groups. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Plans and monitors unit activities, content of programs and independent activities.
• Implements individual and group activities; supervises residents’ use of equipment and materials; follows necessary safety precautions in implementing the program.
• Oversee documentation of resident participation, assessment, MDS, care plan and progress on the appropriate forms.
• Works with activities staff to establish and maintain effective working relationships with agencies and volunteer groups.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
