Job summary

Kadima Healthcare Group is seeking an Activity Director to plan, organize, implement, evaluate and direct Activity Programs in accordance with applicable standards. The role focuses on meeting the emotional, recreational, and social needs of residents on an individual basis and requires effective communication with staff and administration.

The position requires the ability to make independent decisions, work with residents, families, and government personnel, and ensure safety.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred.
Post-secondary education in a related field is desirable.
Computer knowledge desirable.
A physical examination and/or evidence from a physician indicating freedom from communicable disease upon employment.
Must be in good physical and mental health.
Ability to work independently or as part of a group.
Effectively communicate with others.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the Activity Programs.
Ensure residents' emotional, recreational, and social needs are met on an individual basis.
Delegate authority and act within the scope of responsibilities as Activity Director.
Demonstrate independent decision-making when circumstances warrant action.
