Job summary

Kadima Healthcare seeks an Activity Director to plan, organize, implement, evaluate and direct all Activity Programs in alignment with federal, state, and local standards. This role ensures residents’ emotional, recreational, and social needs are met individually under the Administrator’s direction.

The position emphasizes delegation of authority, accountability, and collaboration with staff to support geriatric residents in a safe, engaging environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Post-secondary education in a related field desirable.
• Computer knowledge desirable.
• A physical examination and/or physician's clearance required before employment.
• Must be in good physical and mental health.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a group.
• Effective communication with others.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, implement, evaluate and direct Activity Programs per standards and directives.
• Ensure emotional, recreational and social needs of residents are met on an individual basis.
• Demonstrate delegation of authority and accountability for assigned duties.
• Maintain safety and comply with facility policies during activities.
