Responsibilities

• Plans and monitors unit activities, content of programs and independent activities.
• Implements individual and group activities; supervise residents' use of equipment and materials and takes necessary precautions in implementing the program.
• Oversee documentation of resident participation assessment, MDS, care plan and progress on the appropriate forms.
• Works with activities staff to establish and maintain effective working relationships with agencies and volunteer groups.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
