Genesis Healthcare is seeking an Activity Assistant to enrich the lives of patients and residents by planning, organizing, and implementing engaging recreation activities that meet physical, creative, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs.

You will document attendance, participate in care plan meetings as needed, and collaborate with staff, patients, families, and visitors. A high school diploma and ability to read, write, and understand English are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Experience in activities or elder care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and implement engagement activities for patients/residents.
• Document attendance and participation in recreation programs.
• Attend care plan meetings as needed.
