Genesis is seeking an Activity Assistant to enrich the lives of patients and residents by planning and implementing engaging activities. You will document attendance, support care plans, and work with the team to meet diverse needs on a Sunday-Thursday schedule.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, and strong English communication. The role offers growth opportunities within our long-term care facility and supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English to ensure safety and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and implement engagement activities meeting the physical, creative, cognitive, social and spiritual needs of patients/residents.
• Document patient/resident attendance and participation in recreation programs.
• Attend care plan meetings as needed.
