Job summary

Genesis Healthcare is seeking an Activity Assistant to enrich the lives of residents through planned recreation and engagement. You will design, implement and evaluate activities that address physical, cognitive, social and spiritual needs while supporting overall well-being.

You will document participation, attend care plan meetings when needed and collaborate with care teams to tailor programs for individual residents in our care facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must read, write and speak English to ensure safety and respond to needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and implement activities that meet residents' needs.
• Provide input into the monthly recreation therapy services.
• Document attendance and participation in recreation programs.
