Greenville Care Center in Greenville, OH is seeking a part-time Activities Coordinator to plan and lead engaging programs for residents. The role focuses on enriching physical, social, and emotional well-being through daily, weekly, and monthly activities.

With a high school diploma and a passion for elder care, you will tailor activities to mobility and cognitive levels, document attendance, and collaborate with staff to create a welcoming, safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning daily, weekly, and monthly activity schedules that cater to residents’ physical, mental, and social well-being.
• Lead and facilitate group activities such as crafts, music, exercise, and events; encourage resident participation and adapt activities to mobility/cognitive levels.
• Build relationships with residents and monitor their well-being during activities; provide feedback to leadership.
• Document attendance and participation; maintain records per facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Set up and clean up activity spaces to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.
• Assist in organizing special events and coordinating with volunteers and staff.
