Job summary

AdviniaCare's Greenville Center is seeking an Activities Assistant to create a warm, engaging program for residents, helping maintain independence, choice, and dignity. You will coordinate daily events, transport residents, log notes, and communicate with staff and volunteers to ensure smooth execution of activities, while lifting spirits.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and may need CPR training; background checks and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in nursing, recreational activities, event planning, or related fields may be preferred.
• High school diploma and certain certifications may be required.
• Job training and first aid/CPR training may be necessary.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Creating and coordinating daily events, such as games, arts, and crafts, and other recreational activities.
• Transporting residents to and from activities
• Logging activities notes related to resident participation.
• Create a warm, welcoming, and engaging activities experience.
• Communicating with participants, employees, and volunteers to ensure a seamless experience
• Managing logistics and operations to ensure the smooth execution of events
• Lifting the spirits of our residents and ensuring they enjoy their time at our community
