Job summary

Missouri State University is seeking a ResNet Technology Consultant to support Residence Life computer services at the Springfield Campus. The role involves assisting students with technology issues, responding to inquiries via email and a ticketing system, and helping with in-room connectivity problems.

Flexible up to 20 hours per week, with a pay rate of $15 per hour. Department hours are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on-site work is required at the Springfield Campus.

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of computer operation, diagnostics, and troubleshooting practices.
• Experience with repairs on computers, mobile devices, gaming consoles preferred.
• Must be able to walk to work orders, reach behind or under desks, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Good communication and ability to work on a team is required.
• Previous customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting students with technology issues.
• Providing responses to technology related inquiries via email and ticketing systems.
• Answering phone calls in the ResNet Computer Support Office.
• Diagnosing and repairing student computers, tablets, phones, gaming systems, etc.
