Indiana University Bloomington is seeking an in-person Residence Life staff member to support daily operations in 1st-year housing. You will manage databases, respond to inquiries, and assist with staff supervision and payroll duties.

The role emphasizes customer service, attention to policies, and coordination of room blocks and move-in readiness, with a focus on student wellbeing and campus community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (HSED or GED).
• 2 years in office environment, higher education, or related field.
• Proficient communication skills.
• Maintains a high degree of professionalism.
• Demonstrates time management and priority setting skills.
• Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to work with a wide range of people.

Responsibilities

• Develops, monitors, and manages databases, files, records, and schedules for a residence hall; assists with access management.
• Collaborates daily with residence hall leadership, custodial, and facilities staff.
• Manages maintenance requests and payroll administration of part‑time desk staff.
• Responds to CRM cases, emails, and phone calls.
• Handles conference billings, guest housing receipts, and timekeeping.
• Responds to resident concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Education
