Job summary

Dominican University in River Forest seeks an Operations Coordinator to act as a live-in, primary administrator for on-campus residence halls. You will support residents, coordinate housing assignments, and partner with campus units to remove obstacles to student success.

Responsibilities include managing occupancy, supervising the lobby desk, handling emergencies, and advising students on housing options to foster a holistic living-learning community and timely degree completion.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Ability to function in a growing environment and work collaboratively.
• Ability to build working relationships with students, faculty and staff.
• Proficiency in MS Office programs and student database systems.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate housing assignments and room selection.
• Manage occupancy and billing (damages, meal plans, cancellations).
• Oversee opening/closing of residence halls and summer housing.
• Coordinate Resident Lobby Desk and supervise student workers.
• Advise students on housing and referral resources; track concerns.
