The position requires a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and 1–3 years in Residence Life or education, with a focus on collaboration, leadership, and crisis support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in Residence Life & Housing or education.
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with campus departments.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities independently and collaboratively.
• Demonstrate flexibility, resiliency, creativity, leadership, and supervisory capabilities with a commitment to diversity and inclusive excellence.

Responsibilities

• Area Coordinator duties include managing residence areas, opening/closing, key management, safety inspections, and staff supervision.
• Coordinate selection, training, and evaluation of student staff in residence areas.
• Coordinate RA In-Service Program and supervise Residence Area Security Monitors.
• Support educational, social, and recreational activities for residents and model responsible behavior.
• Serve as conduct officer for lower-level violations and assist in campus initiatives.
