Job summary

Utah Tech University is seeking a Residence Life Coordinator to manage day-to-day operations for Campus View Suites 1, University Inn, and Family Student Housing. The role includes supervising staff, handling student conduct, and coordinating training and events to foster student engagement and success.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least two years in Residence Life or related fields, with on-call duties and on-campus housing provided. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Two years’ experience in Residence Life, Student Involvement, or related fields.
• Experience advising a student group is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day resident life operations and programs for Campus View Suites 1, University Inn, and Family Student Housing.
• Assist in student conduct processes by enforcing rules and adjudicating minor conduct cases across residence halls.
• Plan and organize summer camps and conferences including occupancy management and staff training.
• Develop a community and educational environment that promotes student engagement and success.
• Respond to emergencies and resolve resident/parent concerns and conflicts.
• Plan and implement educational, social, and cultural programs for residents and Themed Communities.
• Utilize StarRez for updating information, processing forms, and reporting.
• Participate in on-call duty coverage as needed.
• Monitor facilities concerns and supervise RA and ARMs during check-in/check-out.
• Assist in recruitment, selection, placement and training of resident staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
