Roanoke College is seeking a Residence Life & Housing Coordinator to provide front-line office coverage and serve as a key contact for students, families, and campus partners. The role involves supervision of student workers, room assignments, and maintaining housing records.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
Excellent interpersonal & written/oral communication skills.
Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Provides comprehensive office coverage for students, parents, prospective students, and campus partners via phone, email, walk-in inquiries.
Recruits, hires, trains, schedules, and supervises student assistants supporting Residence Life & Housing operations.
Coordinates housing data in StarRez and Colleague to keep student records accurate.
Manages room assignments, keys, move-in/move-out, and related housing communications.
Maintains and reports housing data, occupancy, and budget-related records.
Supports major campus events (Orientation, Family Weekend, Commencement) and housing communications.
Participates in professional development to enhance knowledge in Residence Life & Housing.
