Job summary

Saint Louis University is seeking a Residence Hall Coordinator (RHC) for the Department of Housing and Residence Life. The role focuses on graduate housing operations, student learning, and community development within university housing facilities.

The RHC will supervise front desk operations, assist with assignments, and collaborate with faculty, staff, and student leaders to support academic success and inclusive communities. Evening/weekend duties and structured autonomy are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Two years of related work experience preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to working with a diverse student population.

Responsibilities

• Oversees graduate housing room assignment processes and assists with related operations.
• Facilitates room changes and serves on the contract release review committee.
• Coordinates area opening/closing and summer transition for assigned facilities.
• Manages assigned budget accounts and communicates facility concerns with Facilities personnel.
• Supports undergraduate housing, learning communities, and student leadership development.
• Acts as on-call first responder for campus emergencies and coordinates with campus partners.
• Uses Maxient to track student incidents and manage cases.

Education

Bachelor's degree

Master’s degree in college student personnel or higher education
