Job summary

The University of Kansas seeks a Coordinator, Student Conduct Support & Projects to manage Residence Life conduct cases, support policies, and train staff in compliance and procedures. You will review incidents, assign caseloads, and participate in restorative justice initiatives within on-campus housing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with five years of related experience or a Bachelor's degree plus one year of related experience.
• Three years of experience in a higher education setting with housing/residence life and student conduct processes.
• Experience with student conduct database software (Maxient or similar).
• Experience handling confidential information and understanding compliance in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intake management of Residence Life conduct and care cases, create cases in Maxient, and route cases to staff.
• Reassign cases to hearing officer caseloads as needed and adjudicate higher level conduct cases.
• Serve as a hearing officer for higher level cases in Housing areas and potentially remove students from campus housing.
• Develop and facilitate Restorative Justice processes with the Restorative Justice Coordinator.
• Maintain and update records, inquiries, and content in databases; ensure FERPA, PCI, NCAA, Clery compliance.
