Job summary

Benedictine College in Atchison, KS seeks an Assistant Director of Residence Life to lead the student conduct program for over 2,200 students and provide strategic leadership within Student Life. You will adjudicate cases, enforce sanctions, and oversee Maxient case management with a focus on fair process.

In partnership with the Director of Residence Life and campus colleagues, you will ensure compliant operations under Clery, Title IX, and VAWA while supervising staff and guiding housing

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred in a relevant field.
• Two to three years related experience on a college campus.
• Residence Life experience preferred.
• Ability to relate effectively with students, parents, faculty and staff.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
• Computer skills including word processing, e-mail and database software.

Responsibilities

• Lead administration of all student conduct cases and ensure policy fairness.
• Serve as primary adjudicator for policy violations and enforce sanctions.
• Manage the Maxient student conduct database from intake to resolution.
• Provide oversight and training for Residence Life staff and case management.
• Establish and oversee a student conduct board.
• Support Title IX activities, acting as investigator and advisor.
• Collaborate with security and Provost offices to ensure Clery/Title IX/VAWA compliance.
• Review and implement the Student Code of Conduct on an ongoing basis.
• Assist in housing operations and residential life programs, staff, and facilities.
