Job summary

CAMBA is hiring a Resettlement Coordinator to support clients through intake, goal setting, and enrollment across multiple programs. You will maintain confidential records and coordinate with instructors and job developers to advance participants toward employment and self-sufficiency.

The role emphasizes culturally competent outreach, data entry, and collaboration with CAMBA teams to meet funding and service definitions. Strong Spanish skills are required for client interactions.

• Client focused, culturally competent, empathetic, and flexible to the needs of clients and job seekers.
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast paced, high volume, and deadline driven environment.
• Organized and detail oriented with strong documentation skills and a commitment to upholding confidentiality.
• Demonstrated ability to work with refugees, immigrants, and low income populations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional relationships with clients and uphold client confidentiality.
• Conduct initial intake and assessment of clients and/or clients’ families’ situations and needs, including skill levels, prior work experience, employability, interests, aptitudes, support service needs, family and medical history, and individual development needs.
• Refer and enroll clients to the program/programs according to the outcome of the intake process.
• Advise clients regarding realistic career/employment goals and the education/training necessary to attain them. Work with clients to develop realistic educational/employment goals leading to self-sufficiency.
• In collaboration with clients, prepare individual self-sufficiency employment plan for each client, identifying employment goal, interim achievement objectives, and services
