Zusammenfassung

CAMBA seeks a Resettlement Coordinator to manage client intake, assessment, and enrollment across programs at CAMBA’s Brooklyn location. You will develop individual employment plans and guide clients toward sustainable self-sufficiency while maintaining confidential client records and coordinating with a team of instructors and job developers.

The role requires bilingual Spanish skills, experience with refugees and immigrants, and strong MS Office proficiency.

• Demonstrated ability and dedication to work with refugees, asylees, immigrants, young adults, and low income populations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Bilingual required in Spanish.

Aufgaben

• Maintain professional relationships with clients and uphold client confidentiality.
• Understand all aspects multiple ever-evolving contracts and the requirements and services definitions for each.
• Conduct initial intake and assessment of clients and/or clients’ families’ situations and needs.
• Refer and enroll clients to the program/programs according to the outcome of the intake process.
• Advise clients regarding realistic career/employment goals and the education/training necessary to attain them.
• Prepare individual self-sufficiency employment plan for each client with goals and services.

Ausbildung

Bachelor’s Degree (B.A., B.S.W.)

High School Diploma with two years of relevant experience
