CAMBA, Inc. is seeking a Resettlement Coordinator to support refugees and immigrants in Brooklyn. You will conduct intake, set realistic employment goals, and coordinate services with multidisciplinary teams to promote client self-sufficiency.

Strong confidentiality and bilingual capabilities are essential, with experience in social services a plus. Responsibilities include developing individualized plans, maintaining accurate documentation, and advocating for client needs while navigating

Competenze

Familiarity with NYC public benefits eligibility.
Client-focused and empathetic to refugees and immigrants.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Organized with strong documentation skills and confidentiality.
Demonstrated commitment to working with diverse populations.
Bilingual in French; Spanish or Creole a plus.

Maintain professional relationships with clients and uphold client confidentiality.
Conduct intake and assess clients’ needs and employment goals.
Refer and enroll clients to appropriate programs.
Advise clients on realistic career goals and required education/training.
Develop self-sufficiency employment plans with clients.
Input data and maintain client files and progress notes.
Facilitate orientations, assessments, and program progress.
Collaborate with instructors and job developers to advance participants to employment.
