Job summary

CAMBA in New York City seeks a Career Advisor to coach clients through education and employment services within CAMBA's Workforce Development programs. You will conduct intake, set goals, coordinate services, and help clients overcome barriers to employment.

Responsibilities include developing Individual Employment Plans, referring to appropriate resources, maintaining confidential files, and documenting outcomes for weekly and monthly reports. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and one year of relevant experience.
• Excellent written & verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel; literacy in other Microsoft Office Suite products.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
• Networking capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Coach clients to achieve employment goals and coordinate program services.
• Maintain client files and ensure confidential handling.
• Conduct intake, assess needs, and develop Individual Employment Plans.
• Assist with referrals to education, employment and support services.
• Prepare documentation for monthly reporting and program outcomes.
