Job summary

National EMR seeks reservist nurses to support impacted communities and first responders on an as-needed basis. Reservists work intermittently, deploy within 24–48 hours, and this is not a full-time role.

Requirements include an LVN/LPN license in the state of residence, two years of nursing experience (pediatric and adult preferred), and completion of ICS courses within 3 months of hire. Excellent communication and record-keeping skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited LVN/LPN program and hold an active license.
• Two years of nursing experience; pediatric and adult experience preferred.
• Must be current LVN/LPN license in state of residence; compact license preferred.
• Complete ICS 100b, 200b, 700a, 800b; 300 and 400 within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the agency Policies and Procedures Manual and Operations Manual.
• Maintain health-care records in compliance with HIPAA and program protocols.
• Communicate with supervisors and health-care providers regarding care of the service population.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and supervisors on best practices.
• Perform nursing duties and provide health-care services as required; other duties as assigned.
