Job summary

Starbucks Reserve in New York, NY is seeking an Operations Lead to assist the operations managers and specialists in executing store operations during shifts, delivering the Starbucks Reserve experience, and modeling Starbucks guiding principles.

The role requires flexibility in hours, strong customer service, and the ability to train teammates while ensuring health and safety standards are met. You will participate in cash handling, safety procedures, and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in retail and/or restaurant environment.
• Flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.
• Ability to carry 35lb consistently.
• Identify, train, and model adherence to health and safety standards at all times.

Responsibilities

• Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes Starbucks culture, values and mission.
• Maintain a calm demeanor during high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard.
• Assist with new partner training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving coaching as needed.
• Deliver legendary service to each customer.
• Execute operational assignments during scheduled shifts and leverage systems to support the Starbucks Reserve experience.
• Follow Reserve operational policies including cash handling, health, safety and security, and alcohol service as required.
