We have over 25 locations in 7 states, with each team consisting of fun, outgoing individuals looking for their next adventure.

We are hiring reservationists. We book a range of activities for our clients (horseback riding, dolphin tours, etc.) and work with other vendors throughout the Outer Banks. This position is ideal if you have excellent phone and computer skills, enjoy assisting customers, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary

The Reservationist will primarily be responsible for providing excellent customer service to customers making reservations and offering general information about all Kitty Hawk Kites activities and recreation.

Job Duties

• Provide excellent customer service in person, via email, phone calls, text messages, and online chats.
• Understand and promote the recreational offerings of KHK.
• Assist with tasks related to recreational offerings, including monitoring reservation systems, ensuring system functionality, and diffusing customer relations issues.
• Utilize excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills to promote, inform, and sell adventure programs.
• Maintain accurate reservations and schedules.
• Perform other assigned projects as needed.

Education & Experience

• 0-2 years of related reservations experience.
• Customer service, communications, social media, or office experience preferred.

Working Conditions

Physical Requirements

Approximately one-third of the time involves climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Another third involves standing, walking, sitting, and reaching. The remaining time involves manual handling, talking, and hearing. Lifting up to 25 lbs. is expected. Visual requirements include various perception abilities.
