Job summary

Northeastern University is seeking an Outreach, Education & Policy Manager within ResearchEnterprise Services to develop and deploy training for research administrators, staff, and faculty across the campus network.

The role partners with research compliance and college leadership to design policies, deliver online instructional content, and continuously improve training programs and communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, research administration, education, communication, project management, instructional design, finance, science, or a related field.
• At least 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• 4-6 years of experience in grants administration.
• 1-2 years of training and development experience, which may be concurrent with grants administration experience.
• Knowledge of grants administration, communications, and instructional design.
• Effective communication, particularly listening, organization, adaptability, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Train faculty and staff in research administration and compliance topics.
• Develop and update policies, communications, and training materials.
• Create engaging online instructional content and videos.
• Collaborate with NU-RES stakeholders and leadership to deploy training programs.
• Measure training effectiveness and report metrics to leadership.
• Manage and lead monthly continuous learning sessions and seminars.
• Oversee document management and SharePoint content.
