Job summary

The University of New England (UNE) is seeking a Research Compliance Training Manager to lead program planning, development, and delivery of RCR, ethics, and regulatory compliance education across researchers, staff, and students.

Responsibilities include designing curricula, coordinating training sessions, and maintaining documentation to demonstrate compliance. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years in research administration or related compliance, with MS/PhD preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ethics, education, science, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in research administration or related compliance (IACUC, IBC, IRB).
• Experience coordinating and delivering RCR education programs.
• Familiarity with research ethics, regulatory requirements, and best practices in RCR.
• Experience in curriculum development and educational program design.
• Strong project management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross‑functional team in the Office of Research Integrity.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement training on RCR, research ethics, and compliance.
• Coordinate and deliver training sessions to researchers (faculty, staff, students).
• Maintain records and generate reports to demonstrate compliance and educational outcomes.
• Assist in developing assessment tools to evaluate program effectiveness.
