Job summary

Attain Partners is seeking a Research Security Officer to implement and maintain university clients' research security and export controls programs. You will serve as the subject matter expert on export controls and partner with institutional leaders to ensure compliance and effective risk management.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least five years in research compliance or global trade, with strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; five or more years of direct experience in research compliance, export controls, or related fields.
• Experience developing and implementing research compliance programs and global trade controls.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a culture of compliance and oversees adherence to regulatory policies for research security and export controls.
• Executes compliance program activities, including risk assessments and action plans, coordinating with Compliance and General Counsel.
