Job summary

The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. seeks a Research Project Manager to support the Office of Addiction Services and Supports.

You will oversee sponsored projects, subawards, regulatory tracking, reporting, and dissemination activities, coordinating with investigators, program staff, fiscal teams, and external partners. Responsibilities include NIH grant reporting, IRB submissions, and maintaining tracking systems for active projects.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full-time professional experience in research administration or related field.
• Multiple degree pathways accepted per minimum qualifications.
• Experience with NIH or federal grant mechanisms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in administrative tracking and management of NIH and federally sponsored grants and subawards.
• Prepares NIH Research Performance Progress Reports and other sponsor reports.
• Creates IRB submissions for research and evaluation projects.
• Maintains tracking systems and reports on dissemination activities (manuscripts, conferences, presentations).
• Keeps administrative records for active research projects (approvals, reporting, study docs).
• Acts as liaison among investigators, program staff, fiscal and grants-management personnel, IRBs, and collaborators.

Education

Ph.D. in social/behavioral sciences and/or public health

Master's degree in social/behavioral sciences and/or public health

Bachelor's degree in social/behavioral sciences and/or public health

Associate's degree in social/behavioral sciences and/or public health

7 years of full-time professional experience in research administration/coordination/management
