Job summary

NC State University is seeking a Research Program Administrator in Raleigh, NC to support the Screwworm Gene-Drive Research Program. You will provide high-level project management, research administration, and operational coordination for multiple externally funded projects.

Reporting to Dr. Max Scott, you will manage timelines, budgets, regulatory requirements, and communications with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional training and experience.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and oral communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and sponsor reporting.
• Oversee grant administration, fiscal activities, and subawards.
• Manage travel, purchasing, logistics, and meetings for the program.
• Support faculty program lead with research activities and dissemination of findings.
