Global Solutions Network, Inc. (GSN) is seeking a full-time patient coordination professional to support NIH-related clinical studies in Bethesda, MD.

The role involves coordinating recruitment, scheduling, travel, and admission of study participants, while maintaining accurate medical records and communications with patients and staff. The ideal candidate has a Life Sciences background, strong organizational and communication skills, and experience with clinical protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related discipline is required.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with EMR systems.
• Clear and concise communication skills, both orally and in writing, are essential.
• Knowledge of clinical protocols and medical terminology is expected.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Resourcefulness in problem solving and teamwork are valued.
• Ability to compose correspondence and maintain filing systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment, scheduling, travel and admission of research study participants with clinical staff.
• Coordinate new research patient screening appointments, procedures and imaging studies.
• Maintain patient files and medical records in the electronic medical record.
• Create reports and spreadsheets for tracking and scheduling of protocol patients.
• Respond to patient inquiries via email and phone and triage to appropriate team members.
• Develop training materials and mentor patient coordinators.
