Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Medical Assistant - Research to support investigator teams during participant visits in a clinical research setting. You will perform vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy and data collection under supervision, ensuring accurate documentation and patient safety.

Collaborating with RNs and study staff, you will guide participants through tests, schedule follow-ups, and assist with care plans while maintaining regulatory standards and compassionate care across diverse

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Healthcare field or MA Certification required.
BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
0-1 year direct patient care experience in a clinical or research setting.

Responsibilities

Performs research support activities such as vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, data collection.
Assists during routine procedures; collects accurate participant information and communicates with staff.
Schedules follow-up tests and appointments using hospital/CRC systems; supports care plans with RN.
Maintains participant safety by following nursing interventions and reporting activity to the RN.
Assists participant movement to radiology and lab; attends staff meetings and training as assigned.
As needed, may perform duties in other clinics related to clinical research.
