Job summary

This position requires high school diploma with 2 years of related experience, ability to lift, and willingness to work rotating weekends and holidays; PPE is required and safety training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of related experience.
• Ability to handle and care for multiple animal species.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE use.
• Excellent observation and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily animal care and husbandry duties for laboratory animals, including feeding, watering, handling, and health checks.
• Cleans and sanitizes animal rooms, cages, and equipment following SOPs.
• Maintains essential records and logs; monitors environmental conditions and animal census.
• Participates in ongoing training and adheres to health and safety programs.
