Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-award and post-award functions and allocates research labor costs across funding sources.
• Coordinates departmental research effort reporting and ensures timely submission of certified effort reports.
• Maintains department records of grant awards and agreements.
• Helps research staff identify sources of funding by keeping knowledge of agency programs.
• Works with central offices to submit sponsor reports, troubleshoot and resolve matters.
• Develops annual research budgets; reconciles monthly expenses and forecasts expenditures.
• Provides monthly status reports to Principal Investigators.
• Ensures timely renewal of grants and subcontracts and orderly closeout of sponsored activities.
• Attends institutional training on sponsor regulations and hospital policies.
