Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an experienced grant administrator to collaborate with Principal Investigators and Department Administrators to develop grant submissions and forecast budgets. The role also involves monitoring fund statements, handling accounts payable/receivable, and coordinating with grantor agencies and subcontractors to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Financial Management or related field is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Financial Management is preferred.
• 1–2 years of research administration experience required.
• Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, and accounting software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare grant proposals, awards, and transactions, maintaining grant/contract records.
• Assist with budgets, justifications, and materials for financial reporting.
• Review proposals for sponsor compliance and ensure all sponsor requirements are met.
• Process purchase orders and manage accounts receivable/payable; resolve accounting requests.
• Serve as primary Pre-Award/Post-Award resource for department administrators and PIs.
• Monitor expenditures and ensure budgetary compliance; advise on allowability of costs.
