Responsibilities

• Partner, communicate and problem-solve with staff and funded programs to achieve shared goals.
• Assist with oversight, management, and administration of program data in REDCap with data quality assurance.
• Prepare and analyze program performance reports using SAS, epidemiological methods and data-driven insights.
• Lead continuous quality improvement for CTF-funded early childhood home visiting programs.
• Respond to internal and external data requests.
• Prepare and present data reports for the Executive Director, Board, grantees and stakeholders.
• Design and implement ETL processes to extract data from REDCap via APIs.
• Create, configure, and maintain REDCap projects, forms, surveys, and longitudinal structures.
• Back up Senior Research Analyst and maintain familiarity with data privacy laws.

This role is responsible for managing, analyzing, and reporting child abuse prevention program data; operating and enhancing data systems and interfaces; and facilitating continuous quality improvement to improve program operations and outcomes.

• Partner, communicate and problem-solve with staff and funded programs to achieve shared goals
• Assist with oversight, management, and administration of program data in CTF’s REDCap database to include regular data quality assurance and improvement activities
• Prepare and analyze program performance reports in conjunction with Senior Research Data Analyst, using SAS, epidemiological methods and fact‑finding techniques to identify potential barriers to desired program outcomes and recommend data‑driven solutions
• Lead formal continuous quality improvement for CTF‑funded early childhood home visiting programs
• Respond to internal and external data requests
• Prepare and present data reports for CTF’s Executive Director, Board of Directors, grantees, and other stakeholders, including professional conference presentations, as assigned
• Design and implement ETL processes to extract data from CTF’s REDCap database using APIs, as approved
• Create, configure, and maintain REDCap projects, forms, surveys, and complex longitudinal structures

Additional Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Research Analyst and serve as backup to team members, as needed
• Maintain familiarity with applicable laws and regulations, especially those related to the security, privacy and confidentiality of child abuse prevention program participant information

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university with a major in data science, mathematics, computer science, finance, or other related area

OR

• Four or more years of professional or technical experience in providing statistics, data collection, data management, or research, and possession of a high school diploma or high school equivalency

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of data resources, data quality, data planning, and data documentation
• Knowledge of or previous use of REDCap
• Knowledge of business intelligence and statistical software such as SAS, SQL, R, or Python.
• Knowledge of visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI
• Ability to set and follow priorities, successfully adjust to rapidly changing situations, and concurrently manage multiple tasks
• Ability to communicate and express ideas effectively, orally, and in writing.
• Ability to work under minimal direct supervision
• Effective time management skills and ability to meet multiple deadlines
• Ability to evaluate and analyze results of programs and to recommend changes when feasible
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Department staff, other state and local agencies
• Previous experience monitoring, implementing or analyzing data in a prevention or human/community services field
