Job summary

The State of Missouri seeks a strategic leader to unite technology, operations, leadership, and policy at the State Public Health Laboratory in Jefferson City. You will shape systems and infrastructure that support every part of the lab, drive efficient processes, and guide multidisciplinary teams.

Daily duties include overseeing system lifecycles, transitions for testing platforms, budgeting, preparing executive reports, audits, and quality improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Master's degree
• 2 years of relevant experience and/or appropriate certification. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
• Capability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee system lifecycles, testing platform transitions, and informatics support to meet business and regulatory needs.
• Manage team schedules, assignments, onboarding/offboarding, and provide coaching and ENGAGE evaluations for a multidisciplinary team.
• Serve as system owner for key facility infrastructure including the phone system, digital signage, and visitor management system.
• Oversee procurement workflows and support grants through budgeting, tracking, and reporting.
• Prepare executive reports, support audits, maintain documentation, and participate in quality improvement projects.
• Other duties as assigned
